Ethics, Disclosure, and Recusal Statement

The Community Hub is operated as an independent nonprofit organization with its own governing board and financial controls. In accordance with the Michigan Public Officers and Employees Ethics Act (PA 1968, Act 317), I will not use my public office to secure special privileges, contracts, funding, or advantages for the organization.If elected or appointed to public office, I will fully disclose my relationship to the Community Hub as required by law and will formally recuse myself from any governmental decision, vote, recommendation, or policy action that could reasonably be expected to create a conflict of interest or the appearance of a conflict.No public funds, contracts, or benefits will be directed to the Community Hub through my involvement, and any engagement between the organization and public entities will occur through independent, transparent, and legally compliant processes consistent with Michigan law and local ethics policies.
